How Do You Measure Results when it comes to Social Media?
There are a couple ways to measure results. First is numbers and analytics, there are many tools we can use both external and built in that can be used to view relevant data in terms of engagement, views, ROI, etc. That’s fancy talk for saying we are going to see how people respond to what is posted and then use those numbers to better our plan. Think of it like “giving the people what they want.” The second way we measure success is by feedback, if people are engaging your business page and each other on social media, then we are heading in the right direction.
How long does it take to get results and are my social media goals guaranteed?
That depends how aggressively you want to push your brand. If you’re a big business looking to make advancements quickly, it can be a bit pricier but take less time. If you’re like most people and don’t have an expected time limit, we can work on achieving your goals a bit more cost effectively over the course of a longer time. In terms of success you cannot guarantee success in social media and here is why: If you do not have a product/service people like, you won’t find success in social media. The key to success is finding your target audience (your best customers), and marketing to them. We are confident that we can help you achieve success in your social media goals, but it can sometimes take more time than you initially thought.
Don’t I just need Facebook?
In short, you COULD, but you SHOULDN’T.. Facebook isn’t the number 1 answer to everything. It honestly depends on who you target. Lots of people over the age of 40 may not have Twitter the way some millennials may not have Facebook. Truthfully, there are so many Facebook pages out there that simply get buried and forgotten about, so interlinking many social media platforms will go a long way in helping your customers and your business!
Should I just focus on Social Media Marketing?
Definitely not, people have become very desensitized to all the ads shoved in front of them 24/7 on all social media channels. When it comes to social media, focus on serving your community first, and making money second.
Can’t I just do it myself?
Yes you could! However we live in a very fast paced society where everything needs to be done and delivered right NOW. As your business grows, you will likely not have time to interact with your social media community, much less create successful campaigns. A good social media team can speak on behalf of your business, interact with your community, study the analytics, and create everything necessary for all of your campaigns, leaving you free to run your business and focus on other important matters.
Hold on… Why do I need Social Media at all?
Good question, and we could likely sit here all day talking about social media but here is the quick version. Social media allows people to come in and take a closer and more personal look at your business. It allows them to interact with your business on a far more personal level than a website or a billboard. Real people posting real content from the company they love will go a lot further than pushy advertising and repetitive marketing.
